Ryan Clifford won a scholarship from Anthony Hopkins taking him from a council estate in Dagenham Essex to the prestigious Drama Centre London.
Ryan has always had an experimental nature in art and has pushed boundaries in yoga, politics, punk and writing. He has recently written his first play and is currently collaborating with avant garde music producer Richard Torry scoring the piece. Ryan’s approach to acting is method in style flirting with the great practitioners Stanislavsky, Uta Hagen and theatre workshops mother of modern theatre Joan Littlewood. He likes to keep the process upbeat and constantly evolving towards truthful exciting acting. Classes are usually script based and improvisational techniques. Ryan’s teaching passion is rooted in social realism.
