Michael Etherton (Chair) is Chief Executive of UK Jewish Film. Over the last 12 years he has been integral in developing the UK International Jewish Film Festival into a cultural event of national significance. He studied orchestral conducting at the Rubin Academy of Music.
Neil Vickers is a City law firm partner who has been in the business for over twenty years, specialising in international equity capital markets and public and private M&A transactions. His clients include UK and overseas companies and financial institutions with a particular focus on the natural resources sector in developing countries.
Nicholas Brown is a Vice President, Fund Administration, at CVC having moved in August 2015 from Sovereign Capital Partners where he worked as a fund accountant. Prior to this he worked for Kreston Reeves across the Accounts, Outsourcing, Audit & Assurance teams. Nick is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). Nick holds a Degree in Investment and Finance in Property from the University of Reading.
Stephen Colegrave is Co-Director of Byline.com the world’s largest crowd-funded Independent Journalist Platform and Byline Books a publishing imprint for journalists’ books, and co-founder of Byline Festival – the first festival for free speech and independent journalism held in New York and East Sussex. He is co-founder of Spread Innovations (healthcare), and Director of Giraffe – an events and marketing company. He is a Trustee of the Institute of Sport & Exercise Medicine, and UpRising, a youth leadership charity.
Bettina Mazzocchi-Mallarme has 19 years’ experience the investment banking industry, working currently as an Executive at BlackRock. She is a French and Italian national.
Tristan McCarthy is part of the senior leadership team of ARC; a multi-academy education trust. Tristan has over 15 years of experience in estate management and project management delivering complex projects on time and in budget.
Paul Cartwright was a partner of the private equity firm, Rutland Partners LLP until December 2018. Paul joined Rutland in 1988 and has been actively involved in its development through to becoming Managing Partner in 2005. Paul has been a lead member of the team in raising £800m for investment across the three Rutland Funds since 2001. Paul has also led a wide range of turnaround and restructuring investments for Rutland and held many board positions in portfolio companies. Paul still represents Rutland in certain portfolio companies. Prior to joining Rutland, Paul qualified as a chartered accountant with Arthur Andersen working in corporate finance and consultancy. Paul became a Trustee in Sept 2018.
